Squealer gives his speech defending the pigs, claims its in their best interest. Speech is a critical turning point as previously the pigs power has remained a secret and un acknowledged now they publicity admit. Unequal distributions will have a positive effect on the animals society.

The pigs take advantage of the ambiguity in the idea of equality and squealers vague language is used as a propaganda strategy. He uses rhetorical language that ridicules any potential criticism. Squealer has become a parody of governmental speeches
