Recent research indicates the self has many different facets. Do you find this with your self-concept? If so, what are the different facets of yourself? Does your self-concept seem constant or does it change over time? Does it change during different situations?
I believe that I have several different facets. Different facets about myself include the way I process things whether they are emotionally, what I can perceive physically in front of me, and how I act in an academic/professional setting compared to with close friends. The way I process things seems constant for the most part. The way I act around people is different because I have different groups of friends with different types of personalities and humor. My self-concept changes during low and high points in my life and it may partially revert back to how it was before.
