in clear bags and exchanged for clean equipment at the designated
CFR-D Depot

firefighting tools shall be exchanged with
the Special Operations Command (SOC)

come in contact with a patient’s bodily fluid are to be disposed of in a red bag. Redbagged
material should be given to EMS at the scene for disposal. If EMS is not
available or unable to accept red-bagged material, the bags are to be brought back to
quarters for temporary storage in a designated red-bag canister. Each Company is
