Performance goal
A
- Performance goals do not involve the performer comparing themselves to another performer
- They compare themselves against something what they have already achieved
- Or they suggest what they are going to do

A
- Simply used to judge the end result
- Offers a comparison to other competitors
- The performance does not matter

- Performer takes in information from the environment

A
- The performer selects an appropriate response
* Perhaps one they have used in a situation like this before

- The decision is sent as an impulse to the appropriate muscles
- Examples - impulses sent to the arms and hands start to move so the catch can take place

A
- Info is received as Intrinsic or Extrinsic regarding the success of the action
- You can feel the ball in the hand (intrinsic) and your teammates cheer (extrinsic)
