Boston Massacre
Incident between an angry colonial mob and British troops in Boston in which several colonists were killed or wounded
Committee on Correspondance
Organized in the colonies to keep people informed and to publish American views abroad
Boston Tea Party
Several colonists disguised as Indians dumped British tea into the Boston Harbor to protest the tea tax
Quartering Act
Made it legal for British officials to quarter British soldiers in occupied buildings
Boston Port Bill
Closed the port of Boston to all commerce
Intolerance Acts
Acts imposed by Britain in response to the Boston Tea Party
Quebec Act
Canceled all colonial claims to western lands and made Catholicism the official religion of Quebec
