Assault Levels 1-3

A

Threatened or actual physical contact without consent; offensive conduct that causes reasonable apprehension of imminent harm in the mind of the intended victim. This is the first level. Assault with a weapon or causing bodily harm is level 2. Level 3 - aggravated assault is wounding, maiming, disfiguring, or endangering the life of the victim.

A

Touching of a sexual nature that is not invited or consensual. Level 2 Sexual assault is with a weapon, threats to a third party, or causing bodily harm. Level 3 Sexual assault is aggravated sexual assault which involves maiming, disfiguring, or endangering the life of the victim.
