Q

How do you make any resin become water soluble or at least with alcohols or ether alcohols

A

first you need to incorporate sufficient ionic groups into polymer to give the resin an acid value of 30-50,

then you need to neutralized with volatile base such as ammonia / an amine to make the resin to becomes a polymeric salt

This salt is soluble in water / Water ether alcohol

Q

Anodic Cathodic Electrodeposition

A

anodic electrodeposition is if the anode is a metallic object, then the discharged resin will deposit on that object and coat it. The polymeric salt is engatively charged and is attracted to discharged at anode
