The role of the digestive system is a muscular tube which squeezes your food and is between 6 and 9 metres and breakdown and absorb nutrients from food.

Where water is absorbed from undigested food into your blood.

Releases hormones and breaks down the food from slavery glands. Contains enzymes.

What is Gullet oesophagus?
A
Has got muscles around and squeezes it together to break down to smaller peaces of particles. The stomach also squeezes and releases the food.
