Acid

Acidity
The strength of an acidic solution.
Base
A substance that tastes bitter;turns red litmus paper blue;feel slippery;contain negatively charged particles called hydrogen (OH);pH level 9-14
Alkalinity
The strength of a base.
Salt
A compound made of a metal and a nonmetal;or a combination of a strong base +a strong acid.
Neutralization Reaction
The reaction that occurs when an acid and a base react to from water and salt.
pH scale
The scale that measures the amount of acid or base solution.
