Asexual reproduction
Reproduction with only one parent. Most common in plants like strawberries.
Sexual reproduction
Two organisms making offspring using one male sperm and one female egg.
Unicellular
Made of one cell.
Multi-cellular
Made of more than one cell.
Homeostasis
A process organisms use to keep internal conditions stable.
Metabolism
Processing food to obtain chemical energy.
Adaption
A change that allows an individual to be more successful in their environment.
Evolve
A genetic change (sometimes called a mutation) to a population/species over time.
Autotroph
Make their own food using sun energy. (AKA. Photosynthesis)
Heterotroph
Obtain energy by consuming other organisms like plants and animals.
