Q

What are the three states of matter and what are their characteristics?

A

The three states of matter are solids, liquids and gases.
Solids have the strongest attractive forces which is so strong all the particles stick together.
Liquids still have a strong attractive force, but they are weak enough that the particles slide across each other.
Gases have the least attractive forces. The loss of strong forces allows the particles to crash into one another.

Q

What are the two types of indicators?

A

The two types of indicators are litmus paper and ph paper. Litmus paper tells you if the substance is acidic or basic an ph paper tells you if the substance is acidic or basic and that level on the ph scale it is.
