Q

6 Marker - Making salts by a metal carbonate

A

1 . Add sulphuric acid to a beaker

  1. Add copper carbonate to sulphuric acid to beaker and stir
  2. Keep adding CC until it no longer dissolves
  3. Use filter paper and funnel to remove excess CC by filtration
  4. Pour into evaporating basin and put over a Bunsen burner
  5. Leave to crystallise
