Origin: Medial half of clavicle, sternum, costal cartilage 1-7
Insertion: lateral lip of intertubercular sulcus
Action: medially rotates, flexes, and adducts the humerus
Innervation: Medial and lateral pectoral nerve
Blood Supply: pectoral branch of thoracoacromial artery
Pectoralis minor
Origin: Ribs 3-5
Insertion: Coracoid process of scapula
Action: anteriorly tilts and depresses the scapula
Innervation: medial pectoral nerve
Blood Supply: pectoral branch of thoracoacromial artery
Biceps Brachii
Origin: supraglenoid tubercle of scapula and coracoid process of scapula
Insertion: radial tuberosity and antebrachial fascia
Action: supinates and flexes forearm
Innervation: musculocutaneous nerve
Blood Supply: brachial artery
subclavius
Origin: Rib 1
Insertion: Clavicle
Action: Depresses clavicle, stabilizes sternoclavicular joint
Innervation: nerve to subclavius
Blood Supply: thoracoacromial trunk, clavicular branch
serratus anterior
Origin: Anterior surface of medial border of the scapula
Insertion: Ribs 1-9
Action: Protracts and rotates the scapula, holds it against thoracic wall
Innervation: long thoracic nerve
Blood Supply: lateral and superior thoracic artery, thoracodorsal artery
Coracobrachialis
Origin: Coracoid process of the scapula
Insertion: medial side of shaft of humerus
Action: adducts and flexes humerus
Innervation: Musculocutaneous nerve
Blood Supply: brachial artery
Brachialis
Origin: Anterior aspect of humerus
Insertion: tuberosity of ulna
Action: flexes forearm
Innervation: musculocutaneous nerve
Blood Supply: brachial artery
