his is the first long scale background. It’s not a real place; he doesn’t care that it isn’t. There are caves about nature, waterfalls, and streams. The travelers are in the bottom right corner. He wants you to think that nature is powerful, and that people are small.

It is a plum style painting. If you look far away it looks like an apricot tree, but if you look in sections then it’s just lines and dots.

What are the 3 differences of Shang vs. Zhou Bronzes?
Shang bronze has no negative space, inscriptions are in the inside for the maker and ancestors, and the more flanges the more complicated the piece is. The Zhou bronze has negative space because it is relatively plain, the fewer molds the harder to make, and inscriptions are inside for ancestors, and the outside for the people who come to visit you.
