- The danger is that in the majority of cases, there are no symptoms.
- Therefore,people can have the infection and unknowingly spread it to others by sexual intercourse or oral sex.
- People who have unprotected sex are at greatest risk of contracting STIs.
- The best way for someone to find out if they have chlamydia is to get tested.
- You may sell the test kits in your pharmacy or alternatively you can refer patients to a local sexual health clinic.
- Patients should be advised to read the instructions on OTC testing kits carefully before they send off their urine sample to ensure the test will give an accurate result.
- There are kits available for testing in both men and women.
