Another form of cleaning the waste from the bloodstream but instead of a machine, the peritoneal membrane is used as the filter
Hemoperfusion
A way for toxins to be removed from the blood in which the physician perfuses the blood through activated charcoal or resin then transfuses the blood back into the patient
