Involves a mourning process of their life, goals, health and lifestyle changes that will occur

Prolonged levels of stress,uncertainty which leads psychological ailments like anxiety,depression (TURNER AND KELLY 2000)
Individuals with rheumatoid
20-25% have depression due to diagnosis (greenwood 2022)
30% are cancer patients
Effects of chronic illness
