What is a cell?
A cell pushes the elctrons around a complete circuit.
What is a switch
A switch enables you to break and complete a circuit, so turn on and off.
What is a bulb?
Emits light when current flows through it.
What is a fixed resistor ?
It limits the current in a circuit
What is a variable resistor ?
It allows the current in a circuit to be varried.
What is a thermistor ?
It allows the current depending on the temperature.
What is a fuse?
It is designed to melt and break the circuit if the current is too great.
What is a diode?
It allows current through in only one direction.
What is an LED?
It emits light when current passes through it.
What is an (LDR) light-dependent resistor?
It decreases in resistance as light intensity increases.
What is an ammeter?
It is used to measure electric current (amps).
What is a voltmeter?
It is used to measure electric potential difference (voltage).
