what is the circulatory system a series of?

a series of tubes or vessels that carry blood to ALL parts of the body

what are the major components of the circulatory system?
A
heart
blood vessels
capillaries
blood

what does EACH major component do for the body?
A
heart- pumps blood through the circulatory system
blood vessels- carries blood AWAY from the heart and carry blood BACK TOWARDS the heart
capillaries- delivers substances to the cells
blood- medium that transports various substances, eg. water, oxygen
