advantages and disadvantages of Union and Confederacy

A

Union-advantage- had much more free citizens, had more transport parison systems, resources
Disadvantage- unfamiliar, they didn’t want it in the first place

Confederate -advantage- they had a good reason to be doing it, when they were together, most of the good generals etc. were from the south, familiar territory
Disadvantage-too many slaves, small population, resources

“Redemption” was those who wanted to just get back with the rest of America rather than fighting it after the war

Economic differences between north and south

A

The economic differences between the north and the south, began because the north was rapid
Y industrializing, and the south stayed agricultural, also, the south stuck with slavery, while the north got rid of slavery.
