  • Bourdieu sees MC culture as a type of capital because it givens an advantage to those that possess it. WC lack of cultural capital leads to exam failure and belief that education is not meant for them.
  • wealthier parents can convert their economic capital into educational capital by sending their children to private schools and paying for extra tuition
