Q

Which socialists disagree on the extent of the problem caused by a class divide?

A

-Giddens-social investment in infastructure and education to improve equality of opportunity rather than focusing on class divisions. People do not identify by class but by social group- social inclusion more important. own interests+talent.
Marx- false-class consciousness- state using religion, enfranchisment and parliament- any ideas a ‘democratic swindle’ because they are controlled by Bourgosieie.- stuck at the bottom.
