What happens before cc
an unconditioned stimulus evokes an unconditioned response and the neutral stimulus causes no response
What happens during cc
the unconditioned stimulus is paired with the neutral stimulus to evoke unconditioned response
What happens after cc
the ns becomes the conditioned stimulus and cause the conditioned response( previously ucr)
What is extinction
when after not being paired with the ucs for a period of time the cs stops triggering the cr

A cr randomly reappearing in response to the former cs
