= nonspecific symp

A
  • MCP, PIP, MTP - wrist joints
  • joint mov symmetric
  • limited joint function
  • swan neck / boutonneire deformities
  • joitn inflamm - tenderness, warmth, swelling , erythema
  • low grade fever

what extraarticular signs?

A
  1. skin - sc nodules
  2. ocular - keratoconjunctivtiies sicca, scleritis
  3. pulmonary - intersitial fibrosis, pulmonary nodules, pleuritis, pleural effusions
  4. vasculitis - ischaemic ulcers, skin lesions, leukocytoclastic vaculitis
  5. neutrological - peripheral neuropathy , felty syndrome
  6. haematologyic - anemic , thrombocytosis

what are lab tests done for RA?

A
    • RF
  1. elvated ESR , CRP
  2. FBC - increase WBC, anemia, thrombocytosis
    • ACPA
