How were the clothes of Inuits Long Ago made?
Clothes were made from animal skins. Caribou was used because it was very warm. Sometimes polar bear, dog or rabbit skins were used. Seal skin was used for boots. Clothes were sewn with sinew.
What do Inuits of today wear?
Inuits people today wear indoor clothing like ours. Their winter coats still need to be very warm. Their boots also need to be very warm.
Where do Inuits of today buy their clothing?
They buy their clothing from stores.
Where did Inuits of Long Ago get their clothing?
They made them from animal skins that they hunted.
What types of clothing did Inuits of Long Ago wear?
Men, women and children wore the same things; parkas, pants, boots and mitts were worn outside.
