Accept the fact that there is always someone more exceptional than you under social norms. Selectively learning from them to update and trim your goals.
Introduce the most attractive place in your hometown, why it is the most attractive?
Zhong Huan Night Market. Why? 1. foods are amazing, come from many famous cities in Fujian Province 2. Cheap 3. It is open after 10pm and until 2am. It is more like a healing place for local people to relief their stress after a long day of work.

What moral dilemma you faced recently?
When I worked in a team of four at my second year of university to participate in a stock pitching competition, we had to pick a stock, research in detail, do the valuation and recommend to the judges in a presentation. One team member had done a very similar competition and achieved pretty decent result in another country, and she suggested using her presentation but did some minor changes in some aspects to maximize our chances of winning. All members agreed except me. I thought it was a terrible idea that went against the rules of the competition and this idea violate our most important incentive of participating in this competition which was to learn. So I lobbied against it, told them my reasoning sincerely and honestly, and eventually convinced her and other members to pick another stock and come up with a new structure. Due to limited preparation time given, we only slept a few hours every day for 5 days to get the job done. We ended up becoming one of the four finalists. Although we didn’t win a price, but I think we used the right approach. And I consider this as an important quality of a leader, which is to bring people back to the right road when some deviation occurs.
