What is communication
Communication is the process through
which “people use messages to generate
meanings within and across contexts,
cultures, channels, and media.”
Linear Communication
The “Sender” sends a message to the “receiver” and that’s it.
Interactive Communication
Sender sends a message and the receiver gives them feedback.
Feedback EX: What does that mean?
Transactional Communication
Both parties are communicators and are equally exchanging information with feedback
What is Interpersonal Communication?
Its a dynamic form of communication when the messages exchanged influence someone’s thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships.

The degree in which something is important to you in that moment

Internal: That’s just how someone is
External: Maybe an outside force just caused them to act that way
Fundamental attribution error
Blaming someone’s actions on internal things when its actually external things.

Taking credit for success and blaming bad traits on external things.
