What are common reasons for blood tests?
Blood tests help find the cause of symptoms or assess the risk of developing further conditions such as diabetes.
What is blood typing?
Blood typing identifies a patient’s blood group, which is inherited from both parents.
Why is blood typing important?
It is particularly important during blood transfusions and in pregnancy.
What are the four major blood groups?

What do white blood cells do?
They protect the body from infection.
What is an electrolyte test?
An electrolyte test measures dissolved minerals and salts in the blood and body tissues.

Sodium, Potassium, Chloride, and Bicarbonate.
