- Does not have anti inflammatory properties
- 4000mg/24hr is hepatotoxic
- Antidote is mucomyst

NSAID: COX-2 Inhibitor
Nursing responsibilities: Celecoxib
- Black Box warning
- Increased risk of MI and Stroke
- Contraindicated for Sulfa Allergy

- Potential for dependence, addiction, and overdose.
- May cause constipation
- Monitor for overdose by monitoring LOC and RR
- Antidote = Narcan (naloxone)
