Q

Holistic Medicine

A

a general term to designate the belief that the traditional view of medicine must be expanded. All aspects of the individual - physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and environmental - contribute to states of health and diseases. In other others, the entire person must be considered when making therapeutic decisions. The prevention of disease, rather than simply the relief of symptoms, is emphasized.

P: Privacy: close the door or pull the curtain if they are in a double room. E: Explain what you are doing.
