Q

How do plants compete, and what adaptations do they have to allow that?

A

They compete for water and minerals by having widespread roots.
They compete for space and light by having seeds that can be flown up high/to other places by a bird, and therefore have an advantage over others, or by being especially tall/wide.
The compete for pollinators by being colourful and smelling nice.
