1: Select Hydraulic Sys 1&2 Elec pump to Auto
2: Shutdown APU unless required to be on

SIC Before Taxi

A

After start and prior to taxi
1: Display TAKEOFF DATA MESSAGE on MCDU #1 and ensure the passenger and cargo distribution is correct
2: Using MCDU #2 and the TAKEOFF DATA MESSAGE
- Update ZFW (Perf init 3/3)
- Enter TO DATASET (TRS page)
- Enter the takeoff flap selection (Takeoff 2/3)
-Enter the Vspeeds (TAKEOFF 3/3)
- Set the STAB trim
- Return to Takeoff flap selection page (takeoff 2/3) for PIC reference

After PIC announces “select flaps__, flight control check
1: Select appropriate flap setting and respond “Takeoff flaps__ Set”
2: Monitor the flight control MFD Synoptic page for control errors
3: Follow the PIC on the rudder pedals to check full range of motion

SIC Before Takeoff

A

1: Verify APU off, or On if required
2: Check brake temps in the green range on the status page and select MAP on the MFD
3: Ensure the assigned code is set in the transponder, and set transponder to TA/RA
4: Press and test the T/O CONFIG button and listen for “Takeoff Okay” confirmation
5: Announce “flight attendants prepare for departure” using PA
6: Accept the call from the FA confirming cabin ready for departure

SIC after landing/taxi in

A

1: Request taxi clearance
2: Set the flaps 0/2 as requested by PIC
3: Place the TACS/Transponder mode selector to ALT ON
4: Select the status page on the MFD
5: Set the pitch trim to 4
6: Set the approximate field elevation in the altitude select window
7: If icing conditions exist, select the ICE PROTECTION MODE switch to ON
8: When the Red X appears on the MFD vertical profile display announce “Cool down complete”

1: Verify that the Ice protection mode is on AUTO
2: Push the APU bleed button IN
3: Reset clock
4: Place Transponder STBY
5: Send ACARS Post flight within 5 mins of Block-in
