• Parties must agree in advance to adopt it (but adopting the Protocol implies it’s use unless otherwise agreed)
• Seller’s solicitor warrants that they are acting for the seller
• Seller’s solicitor confirms in writing which mortgages will be redeemed on completion
• Completion monies sent via bank transfer
• If they cannot comply with the code, S’s solicitor must provide a statement to B’s solicitor before 4pm the day before completion
