• Data is provided into a computer.
• This can be done by generating data from peripherals; such as mouse clicking from a mouse or keyboard.

What happens in storage?

Answer 3

Data is saved either:
* Temporarily in RAM.
* Permanently in devices such as HDD, SSD or cloud storage.

Question 4

What happens in processing? And where does it happen?

Answer 4

• Data is analyzed and is turned into useful information, also calculations are conducted.
• Processing usually occurs in the CPU.

What happens in Output?

Answer 5

• Information is simply reported and displaying the results of processing.
• Can be generated in a monitor or paper record from a printer.
