Continuation of P+R
Although the continuation of prejudice and racism was not the most important, it clearly still had a n impact for the growth of the CRM as the Northern blacks felt they had to join the get the justice Emmett deserved and to end the treatment
Black organisations
The least significant factor of the growth of the CRM was the emergence of black organisations as some of the groups continued to use violent tactics which some didn’t agree with so people failed to join the movement
WWII
The most important reason for the growth of the civil rights movement was WWII as black servicemen were one of the first to experience racial tolerance and this made them realise that they should fight for their civil rights, they also became angry that Germans prisoners received better treatment and faced more racism returning to American so they joined to gain their rights
