When an equal number of poeople on both sides vote opposite to each other.

Give an example of Political Deadlock
Canada West and Canada East had an equal number of representatives in the Legislative Assembly. Each group took opposite sides in discussions, leading to political deadlocks. Few changes could be made due to the bitter conflicts between the two groups.
What is a Reciprocity Treaty
A free trade agreement between the British North American colonies and the United States

The belief that one country is supposed to conquer the world

The higher the population the more representation (and vice versa)
