Vesting Clause Judiciary
A3 S2 C1: “judicial power shall extend to all cases … arising under the Constitution”
SCOTUS jurisdiction
A3 S2: “In all cases affecting ambassadors, other public ministers and consuls, and those in which a State is a party the Supreme Court shall have original jurisdiction. In all the other cases … the Supreme Court shall have appellate jurisdiction”
Supremacy Clause
A6 C2: The Constitution shall be the supreme law of the land
Guaranty Clause
A4 S4: US guarantees to every state in the union a republican form of government and to protect states from foreign and domestic invasions
House qualifications and expulsion
A1 S5 and A1 S5 C2: Each House shall be the judge of the qualifications of its own members and each house may expel a member with a two-thirds concurrence
Congress’s Enumerated Powers

Commerce Clause

10th Amendment

Spending Clause
A1 S8 C1: Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts, and excises and to pay the debts and to provide for the common defense and general welfare of the United States
Necessary and Proper Clause
A1 S8 C18: Congress shall have the power to make all laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into execution the foregoing powers
14th Amendment

Commander in Chief Clause
A2 S2 C1 The President shall be the commander in chief of the army and navy of the United States
Treaties Clause

Recess Appointments Clause
A2 S2 C3: The President shall have power to fill up all vacancies that may happen during the recess of the senate
Take Care Clause

Treason
A3 S3: Treason against the US shall consist only in levying war against it, adhering to its enemies, or giving aid and comfort to its enemies. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses or a confession
