To determine which system is causing the malfunction;

  1. LDG Gear and Flap Control System Circuit Breakers - Cycle
  2. Landing Gear and/or Wing Flap Switch - Rapidly Recycle
  3. If lights fail to go out and Wing Flaps are causing the malfunction
    a) Wing Flaps Switch - Select desired position
    b) Flap control System Circuit Breaker - Pull
  4. If lights fail to go out and Landing Gear is causing the malfunction
    a) Landing Gear Switch - Select desired position
    b) LDG Gear system Circuit Breaker - Pull
  5. Before Landing - Reinstate applicable Circuit Breaker

Manual Mode Operation

A

• The Start functions are performed manually by the pilot
• Maximum EGT limit must be determined by the Pilot
• Condtion Lever does not control RPM (always @ 100%)
• Torque and Temperature Limiting is inoperative
• Propeller Synchroniser is inoperative
• Underspeed Governer is inoperative
• Propeller Reverse is not allowed
• Do not use flight idle until after touch down
• Minimise use of bleed air at low-power settings
• The GND position on the pressurisation source selector does not increase bleed air to the cabin
• Engine response to power lever advanced is slower than normal, especially during ground operations

EGT max 770C for start and 1 second 9. Avoid operation between 18-28% 10. 5 Second at 105.5% to 106.0% must be included in 30 seconds about 101.5%
