can cause destruction of habittats like forest, woodland has long lasting effect on ecosystems. Also causes soil contamination due to bonbs and chemicals contaminatimg water and soil. Landmines and unexploded ordnance left over from war can also be a threat to wildlife.

e.g gulf war where an oil spill happened - harming wildlife and the environment

war is incredibly expensive. many countries have to heavily invest in military. If infanstuctre gets damaged due to war that can also cost alot aswell leading to long term debt. War can also disrupt trade Commerce making it harder for countries to import and export goods. High deaths can also result in loss of work force limiting economic recovery.

e. g the iraq war costed 2.2 trillion which would heavily impact thier economy.
