Intrest rates
Higher interest rates lead to less money being borrowed, lower interest rates lead to more being borrowed, if inflation is high government raises interest rates to discourage spending
Uses of advertisement
Promote a specific product, build brand image, spread brand awareness, remind consumers of the business
Comparative shopping
Comparing two or more products/services to find the best value to you
Promotional sales
Sales on items or services that are new, meant to spread awareness and desire
Clearance sales
Sale on items that a brand is trying to get rid of, often associated with a product being discontinued or a shop closing
