what are the four characteristics of god
immanent, transcendent, personal, impersonal
describe god as immanent
a god that is seen to be involved in the world, and is not separate from it. This means that god can act in the course of human history, God is present and actively participating in His world. He interacts with us and speaks to us which involves him in our world and impacts human history
describe a transcendent god
to describe god as transcendent means that god is seen to be beyond and outside the material world, this means that God is not limited by the world in terms of time, space and what god can do. God is infinite in that he is not subject to any of the limitations of humanity or of creation in general. He is far greater than everything he has made, far greater than anything that exists.
describe god as personal
to say that god is personal means that the believer relates to god as they would a person that they have a relationship with, religions often describe god as personal because it makes god more accessible and approachable.
describe god as impersonal
to say that god is impersonal means that the believer relates to or describes god without human characteristics.

god is the creator of everything that is and all is created in his image, He has an intimate and loving relationship with us and loves and forgives good and evil alike. He is our father and the father of jesus and no force in creation is more powerful than him.
