NAPRA schedules: What are they?
I: Require Rx!
II: Sold w/o Rx but require Pharmacist intervention… No public access or opportunity for self-selection.
III: Sold w/o Rx but must be sold in licensed pharmacy… Can be sold from self-selection areas under supervision of Pharmacist.
Unscheduled: Sold w/o professional supervision & from any retail outlet.

How does the CDSA define a “practitioner”?
Person registered & entitled under provincial laws to practice in said province within the following professions:
Medicine, Dentistry, Vet Med, Prescribed Midwives, Nurse Practitioners, Podiatrists.
Are Pharmacists considered to be “practitioners” under the CDSA?
Nope
The word “produce” means what under the CDSA?
To obtain a substance by any method or process including:
-Manufacturing / Synthesizing or using a means of altering chemical or physical properties of the substance
OR
-Cultivating, Propagating, or Harvesting substance or a living thing from which the substance may be extracted or otherwise obtained from.
“Provide” is defined as what under the CDSA?
-To give, transfer, make available in any manner (whether or not it’s for considerations).
“Sell” is defined as what under the CDSA?
-Offer / Expose for sale or have in possession for sale & distribution (whether or not distribution is made for considerations).
“Traffic” is defined as what under the CDSA?
-To sell / administer / give / transfer / transport / send / deliver substance.

-Sell authorization to obtain a substance.
