What is the histogram equation?

What is primary data?
Data that you collect yourself by doing your own survey, questionnaire or experiment
What is secondary data?
Data that you get from the internet, newspaper, television, radio.
Has already been collected by someone else.
How do you find the position of the lower quartile?
Position of quartile= n (total frequency)/ 4
What is systematic sampling?
Taken by sampling at regular intervals
How do you find the position of the upper quartile?
Position of upper quartile= 3n(total frequency)/ 4
Define simple random sampling?
When everyone in the sample has the same chance of being picked
How do you calculate the position of the median?
Position of the median=n(total frequency)/2
What is stratified sampling?
A sample that represents the population
The groups in the sample are in the same proportion as they are in the population
What is quota sampling?
When individuals are chosen out of a specific subgroup
What is cluster sampling?
Cluster is another word for group and we use this method when the population can be put into or naturally fall into groups
