Actions of steroids

A
  1. decreasing circulating T/B cells, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils
  2. increase neutrophils by decreasing extravasation & increased prdn
  3. decrease size & lymphoid content of lymph nodes
  4. increase macrophage efferocytosis, resolution of inflammation
  5. decrease type IV delayed hypersensitivity
  6. more effects on cellular than humoral immunity
