who was Moses?
an Israelite who led the other Israelites out of Egypt
how is the torah linked to the covenant between God and the Israelites?
as he gave the torah to Moses so he could teach it to the rest of the Israelites which was apart of the covenant God and Moses
where did God meet with Moses?
mount Sinai
what does mount Sinai symbolise and what happened there?
it symbolises being closer to God and it is where God gave clear instructions for how the Hebrews are to live their lives

‘you will worship God on this mountain’

it indicates a way to become more holy and closer to God and a way to worship him

to always worship God and only him as it states in the 10 commandments and to keep his covenants

to bless or to make holy

to consecrate themselves as alternatively they would die
