What are the job priorities Levels?
- Signal One: Immediate Response / officer at immediate risk of suffering GBH or Death and is THREE tone alerts via radio
- Urgent Response: Respond immediately unless responding to a priority / there is a serious threat to life or property occurring now that requires an immediate police response / TWO tone alerts via radio
- Non-Urgent Response: Respond when no Priority 1 or 2 matters outstanding / incidents that require a police response / NO alert tones
- Routine Response: Generally does not involve a member of public / ONE alert tone

CODE RED: Urgent Duty Response Warning Devices used (LIGHTS AND SIRENS)
CODE BLUE: Routine Response, NO Warning Devices Activated

Action / Police are required to respond to escalation in danger

Understanding Behaviours and Situations - Some are obvious but some arent immediately obvious and a greater level of observation is required

What is Risk?
the chance of being harmed, or property being damaged, as a result of being exposed to a threat or hazard
What is Chance?
possibility that someone will be harmed or property will be damaged
Who is “someone”?
includes the person of interest (POI), offender, police or member of the public
What is a Threat?
intentional act undertaken by a person or persons with intention of causing harm, that is fear or injury, to another person or damage property
What is a Hazard?
events and situations that have a potential to result in an injury to a person or damage to property. Inc Natural Disasters, emergencies and unintentional human actions (car accident)
What is the Risk Analysis Formula?
RISK = Likelihood x Consequence x Vulnerability
What is “Likelihood”?
possibility of harm occurring to a person or damage property
What is “Consequence”?
severity of injury or the level of property damage that could occur should the risk eventuate
What is “Vulnerability”?
who or what could be harmed or damaged should the risk eventuate
What the Threat Analysis Formula?
THREAT = Intention + Capability
