  • kneel nxt to and turn head away
  • place arm nearest above head
  • grasp casulties shoulder and clamp their arm to waist with other hand
  • with a steady pull roll casultie against your thighs
  • roll casualties gently to the ground supporting the head
  • place extended arm by side

A
  • hand on the chin with arm parralel to collar bone
  • roll away and mouth to lowest point
  • clear any residue out with fingers
  • turn back onto back re-establish airway and continue CPR

  • bring far arm across chest so plam is on their face
  • hold arm against face, lift far knee
  • roll casultie towards you
  • tilt head back to ensure airway is open

CPR - adult

A
  • check for danger
  • gently shake shoulder & ask for a response
  • turn casualty onto back
  • place hand on forehead two fingers on chin & tilt head back
  • keeping hands in plae look, liten & feel for breathing for 10 seconds
  • if in doubt do CPR
  • implement the EAP
  • send someone to get AED if possible
  • start CPR
  • heel of hand in centre of chest
  • interlock fingers
  • position shoulder vertically above casualty
  • -press down to a depth of 5/6 cm
  • repeat a rate of 100-120 bpm per second
