became a member of wolseys council and becomes good friends with wolsey

Over the 1520s cromwell makes a name for himself

1523-1529:
In 1523 cromwell became an MP

Wolsey fall from power in 1529 put cromwell in a difficult position but used his power as an MP to defend wolsey

didnt save wolsey but skills were acknowledged by the king and appointed to the royal council
