Most psychology research (textbooks) is based on America and Europe. Culture bias can be improved by noticing it when it happens and including other culture groups to study as well.

A

They can amplify and validate damaging stereotypes.
The US army used an IQ test which was culturally biased towards white majority. African americans were at the bottom of the scale, this resulted in people having a negative attitude towards this group of people.
There are prejudice/discriminatory consequences of culture bias.
