What is current?
A
The movement of charge around a circuit, it’s carried by electrons.

What are resistors used for?
A
Resistors can be used to change current in a circuit.

What is potential difference?
A
Potential difference is measured with a voltmeter connected in a parallel across a component.

What’s resistance?
A
Measured in Ohms. Resistance is potential difference divided by current.

What are Variable resistors?
A
Used to change resistance and current in a circuit. Increasing resistance decreases current.

What wires change resistance and in what way?
A
Longer wires have a higher resistance than shorter wires. Thinner wires have a higher resistance than thicker ones.
